We have created a training bundle of two E-Learning courses, aimed at KS3 and KS4 but significant for other age groups. The training bundle includes an inspiring masterclass developed in collaboration with Jude Pullen and the Design & Technology Association on Prototyping and Conceptual Models and another E-Learning course focused around modelmaking and prototyping, giving you a comprehensive suite of materials to develop your, and your students’ skills and understanding of this vital part of the design and make process.

With the help of a high profile expert in the industry, this E-Learning 'Prototyping' bundle will take D&T teachers through the process of prototyping conceptual models with students and model making. Combining the two E-learning courses will enable you to see how you can implement the learning in your classroom by exploring useful materials and processes.

Prototyping and Conceptual Models e-learning session Objectives:

• To provide help and guidance when creating prototypes and conceptual models with students.
• Increase awareness of alternative modelling techniques both physically and using C.A.D.
• To ensure modelling in your D&T lessons is utilised to its full extent.

Jude Pullen Masterclass Objectives:

• Introduction to prototyping
• How to cut, shape and join useful prototyping materials
• Useful tools and equipment
• Explore kit-bashing and 'hacks'

Whilst participating in these training sessions, you will:

• Increase your confidence and awareness of a variety of modelling approaches.
• Access industry insights using modelling techniques.
• Carry out a number of challenges and focused tasks.
• Access video tutorials and downloadable resources created with Jude Pullen
• Receive an electronic certificate and validated digital badge to demonstrate your completion of the D&T Masterclass
