This refresher course is suitable for all registered RDTHSC's who currently prepare colleagues to meet the Specialist Textiles Health and Safety Training Standards.
The course will familiarise you with the STHS Training Standards and the Specialist Textiles H&S training resources. These resources provide a range of practical activities that will prepare you to deliver a 1-day course for colleagues in schools and colleges to meet the STHS Training Standards.
During the day you will have the opportunity to work through a range of practical assessment tasks that cover the safe use of the sewing and embroidery machines, overlocker, embellisher, batik wax, sublimation printing, heat-pressing and ironing equipment.
Places are limited so it will be on a first come, first served basis.
