This half day online course is ideally suited to secondary school teachers teaching GCSE D&T. Whether you're new to teaching GCSE D&T or an experienced teacher looking to refine your approach, this session will equip you with the strategies and skills needed to plan, deliver, and monitor a successful GCSE D&T curriculum. 

Throughout the session, we will explore best practices, share valuable insights, and provide actionable advice to help you build a robust and engaging learning experience for your students.

Meet your Trainer

Paul Woodward – Curriculum Consultant

Paul has been teaching D&T for almost 30 years with most of those years as a Head of Creative Arts Faculties or as Head of D&T. Following a degree in 3D design, Paul initially trained for the Post 16 sector, so he has extensive experience of teaching A Level D&T, but he has taught the subject from KS2 onwards in a wide variety of schools ranging from Pupil Referral Units to Prestigious International Boarding schools. Paul’s MA is in Education specialising in Professional Development in Teaching and Learning which led to him working as a consultant, course designer and presenter for D&TA alongside his industry and teaching roles…
