Working with paper straws

This classroom display poster contains information about using paper straws in a range of activities and structures. These useful items can be used when making framework structures or moving joints both as sliding and flexible versions. The poster has instructions for making different types of joint, means of joining straws together in different ways and also has suggestions for how straws can be used to make and enhance a range of toys, models and other items in the classroom. The poster was included in D&T Primary issue 14.
