Lynn Yap
Bio:
Lynn Yap is a dynamic strategy leader with over 12 years of experience driving growth and operational efficiency across diverse industries, including finance, e-commerce, and consumer goods. Passionate about design and technology, Lynn has played pivotal roles at companies like Avon, where she led a strategic pivot to e-commerce, and Adidas, where she drove innovation partnerships and social impact.
She began her career in corporate law and investment banking, contributing to major IPOs such as Facebook and Nielsen. Lynn’s strategic acumen extends to her work with Actv8 Network, which she founded as a strategy consulting firm with the social purpose of increasing the participation of girls in STEM subjects.
Lynn holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an LLB from the University of Nottingham. She is the author of The Altruistic Capitalist: How to Lead for Purpose and Profit. She remains committed to technology and education through her mentoring efforts with women entrepreneurs and is a co-opted governor at a girls' school in North London.
