Welcome New Trustees

We are exceptionally pleased to be welcoming four new trustees onto the board. It provides an opportunity to add fresh perspectives, new ideas, and diverse skill sets to the Association.
Sophie Adams-Foster
Sophie is Business and Strategy Director at Realise Design in Bristol, an industrial design agency that has won multiple industry awards for its work. With more than 15 years of experience in the design and engineering industry, she possesses an in-depth, first-hand understanding of the product design development process, including electronic design, certification, prototyping, manufacturing, and 3D printing.
Chris Hatherall
Having originally trained as a Teacher of Design & Technology, Chris is the Principal at University Technical College Warrington. A specialist science and engineering college for 14–19-year-olds. The UTC is one of the highest performing in the country for students progressing onto higher and degree apprenticeships.
Felicity Milton
Felicity is the Global Senior Director of Team Sport TECH at Adidas. She is a native 'intrapreneur' with a background in Mechanical Engineering (MEng – Durham University) and coming up to two decades of building, scaling, and failing new end-to-end business models - from sports technologies, 3D apparel and footwear creation, Start-Up incubators, to data-driven, made to order customization platforms for ‘lot size one’ robotic manufacture.
Drew Wicken
Drew Wicken graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2010 with a B.A. (Hons) in Design & Technology with Secondary Education. Drew later completed an M.A. in Education from the University of Wolverhampton. Drew has taught in various secondary schools nationwide, delivering design & technology education.
Trustees are essential members of our organisation, responsible for providing oversight, governance, and strategic direction. We are excited to be welcoming new talent and look forward to working together to advance our mission and make a positive impact in the Design and Technology community.
