In an effort to equip the next generation with the skills needed for the evolving digital landscape, Siemens, Europe's leading industrial manufacturing company, is unveiling its Academic Program, designed to empower educators and students alike. A key component of this initiative is the introduction of Solid Edge 3D CAD Software. This will be demonstrated in a free webinar scheduled for September 25th.
Siemens recognises the importance of preparing students for the jobs of the future, particularly in the realm of digital engineering. Their engineering pathway program offers an array of resources tailored to educators working with students in KS2 and KS3. These resources include curriculum materials, access to industry-standard 3D CAD Software, comprehensive virtual and in-person training, and opportunities for professional development. Furthermore, Siemens has cultivated a supportive community of both novice and seasoned engineering educators, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.
The upcoming webinar will run from 16:30 to 17:30 and will serve as an introduction to the Hour of Engineering and the innovative Solid Edge 3D CAD software.
Participants will receive a concise training overview, enabling them to familiarise themselves with the software's capabilities and potential applications. Additionally, the webinar will shed light on the methods to access and effectively implement Siemens software and curriculum within the classroom.
