Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation in design, technology, and engineering? We are inviting applications for trustees to play a key role in shaping the UK's design and technology education landscape, fostering creativity and critical skills in young minds.

Design & Technology education is a gateway to innovation, preparing students for diverse career pathways in design, engineering, and digital sectors. It equips them with critical thinking skills essential for addressing global challenges, including sustainability and climate change.

We're Looking For:

• Finance Expert: Provide high-level oversight to monitor and scrutinise financial performance.
• Fundraising/Funding Specialist: Guide and monitor fundraising efforts for the organisation.
• Design/Creative Industries Background: Offer insights and contacts within the design and creative industries sector. PR and Marketing/Communications background is desirable.

Our trustees review and approve the Association's strategy and plans, offering governance and oversight. They act as ambassadors, promoting our activities to government, education, and industry stakeholders. Meetings occur five times a year, with additional committee meetings for specific responsibilities.
