Primary Schools Invited to Join Free Summer Cookery Education Pilot
Published 18th March 2025
Leiths Education, renowned for its world-class cookery training, is offering primary schools a unique opportunity to participate in a free summer-term pilot programme. Designed for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, the initiative provides schools with high-quality teaching resources to support practical cookery lessons.
So far, more than 60 schools have taken part in the programme, which includes engaging cookery lessons, carefully curated recipes, and comprehensive teaching materials. Schools that join the pilot will also benefit from a free CPD session focused on delivering practical cookery education, completion certificates for pupils, and the chance to win an exclusive cooking masterclass.
A participating pilot school described the experience as “an opportunity to enhance our DT curriculum and develop teacher knowledge.”
The initiative is open to primary schools free of charge, and places are now available for the summer term.
