New Designers Exhibition 2023

London is buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated New Designers Exhibition 2023 has opened its doors to showcase the remarkable talents and groundbreaking designs of emerging creatives. This annual event, taking place at the renowned Business Design Centre, is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the boundless potential of the design industry.

We were lucky enough to be able to attend the exhibition which is now in its second week running from July 5th to July 8th. As you step into the venue, you are immediately engulfed in a vibrant and bustling environment full of energy and creativity. The exhibition space itself is a visual feast, with carefully curated displays showcasing an incredible array of imaginative creations. Each booth is meticulously designed to reflect the unique style and vision of the exhibiting designer. Bright colours, innovative materials, and striking installations captivate the eye at every turn, making it impossible to resist the allure of exploration.

There was a fantastic assortment from hydrophonic planters, sustainable materials made from seaweed and eggshells. It was a real collection of bright young minds, innovative inventions and fascinating products. 

This platform brings together the next generation of designers and makers from across the UK and serves as a launchpad for these aspiring professionals, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their work to industry experts, potential employers, and design enthusiasts.

The exhibition is divided into two distinct parts, each highlighting different disciplines and areas of expertise. Part 1, which took place from June 28th to July 1st, focused on design disciplines such as textiles, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, and surface pattern. Part 2, which is underway now feature exhibits from product design, furniture design, graphic design, illustration, animation, and more.

The showcased designs reflect the evolving trends, technologies, and societal shifts that shape our world. Visitors can expect to witness groundbreaking concepts, sustainable solutions, and imaginative approaches that challenge conventional norms and pave the way for the future of design.
