New Blueprint 1000 Member

We are thrilled to welcome new member Solid Solutions to Blueprint 1000. Blueprint 1000 is a scheme set up by the Design and Technology Association to connect education and industry. The skills gap in design sector is widening which is why projects like this are so valuable.

With over 20 years of experience, Solid Solutions accounts for almost 80% of all of the SolidWorks CAD software sales in the UK and Ireland. SolidWorks is a 3D CAD software that enables engineers and designers to create, simulate, and validate their designs. It is used in a wide range of industries, from consumer products to aerospace. SolidWorks is known for its ease of use, robustness, and wide range of features.

We have already facilitated a number of webinars, focus groups, software testing, apprenticeships and loan schemes with our members which span across design, engineering, manufacturing or construction. We have also been able to deliver our popular Teacher In Residence programme which is a three to five-day internship to give teachers an in-depth understanding of modern industry and the knowledge, skills and personal attributes sought by employers.
