Published 21st January 2025

The ERA Foundation has announced that applications for the 2025 David Clark Prize for teachers are now open. This prestigious award recognises exceptional teachers who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to engineering education.

The prize will honour two outstanding teachers: one from a primary school and another from a secondary school, college, or University Technical College (UTC). Each winner will receive a personal award of £3,000, along with £12,000 allocated to their school or college over three years to support and advance engineering initiatives.

The ERA Foundation established the David Clark Prize to celebrate teachers who inspire and nurture the next generation of engineers. By providing substantial funding to schools and colleges, the award ensures that the recipients can continue making a significant impact on engineering education within their communities.

Nominations are now open, and teachers across the UK are encouraged to apply or nominate deserving colleagues. The full details and application process can be found on the ERA Foundation’s website: David Clark Prize 2025 Nominations.

This is a unique opportunity to recognise the vital role teachers play in shaping the future of engineering. Don’t miss the chance to celebrate their dedication and vision.
