'Designed for Life' Podcast Hits the Road!
Published 10th October 2023
In 2020, during lockdown, the 'Designed for Life' podcast was born. It aimed to share honest talks with designers, innovators, engineers, and manufacturers with teachers, students, parents, and industry leaders. Fast forward three years, with nearly 25,000 listeners worldwide, and we have taken the show on the road!
This week, we were in Newcastle, hosted by John Smith and the Royal Grammar School Newcastle. Our guest, engineer Charlotte Chapman, shared her inspiring journey from school to designing incredible machines for Royal IHC with our CEO Tony Ryan. Students and parents attended, and if just one student felt inspired, our mission was a success.
The episode will be live to stream on all platforms in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for updates.
Next week, we're off to Bristol, shifting our focus to aerospace. To find out more or to book click here.
Thanks to the Edge Foundation for their support. Could your school host us? Could you be our next guest? Email designedforlife@designtechnology.org.uk if interested.
