Daydream Believers: A New Way to Play

Design and Technology Association Corporate member Daydream Believers have announced the creation of the D&AD New Gen Awards. This award is focused on empowering young people aged 11-18 to think creatively about a range of socially important topics and give them a chance to provide brave responses to a brief set by global brands and creative industry leaders.

This new award is designed to encourage, inspire and guide all young people from a wide diversity of backgrounds to realise the power of their creativity. It gives them opportunities to identify and develop valuable skills at a much earlier stage in their educational journey than before.

The supportive learning resource for this has been released and can be downloaded. It has been designed to take each participant (age 11-18) on a journey through a creative process. The resource contains 5 lessons filled with top tips from D&AD, relevant case studies and various warm-up exercises.

The 2023 award is supported by WPP, and adidas set the brief.
