Meet the Presenter

Our Curriculum Consultant Lol Conway, brings 14 years of classroom experience across KS2–KS5, including leadership roles in both primary and secondary schools. Her work is rooted in creating inclusive, inspiring D&T experiences that support progression and spark curiosity.

"At the start of my teaching career, my focus was often on supporting SEND students or those from disadvantaged backgrounds. But over time, I realised that my more able students weren’t always being fully considered—often just added to a lesson plan as an afterthought. True inclusivity means planning from the outset to challenge and support every learner equally. In D&T, we’re lucky to have a subject that naturally encourages higher-order thinking, problem-solving and creativity." – Lol Conway
