Building our new Industrial Strategy

The Government has released a major consultation document recently, which the Design and Technology Association is keen to respond to.

In January 2017, the government produced a Green Paper on ‘Building our new Industrial Strategy.’ Whilst this is focused on post-16 activity, we are keen to stress the need to develop the interest and aptitude of young people, pre-16, so they are more likely to take up STEM subjects. We will emphasise the huge potential of Design and Technology to inspire young people to learn more about the wide range of new technologies that will impact on all areas of society and the workforce.
