How Industry is Supporting Schools in STEM – Share Your Views

Published 21st January 2025

Schools across the UK are being invited to participate in a brief two-minute survey aimed at shaping the future of STEM careers provision in education. As a gesture of appreciation, participants will receive exclusive access to the AtkinsRéalis Careers Programme—an extensive resource designed to inspire young people aged 4 to 25 to explore and pursue opportunities in STEM.

This initiative represents a collaboration between AtkinsRéalis, a global leader in engineering and nuclear solutions, and Governors for Schools, a respected education charity. By taking part in the survey, schools will provide valuable insights to:

  • Highlight how schools currently engage with STEM industries.

  • Identify the resources necessary to better equip pupils, teachers, and parents.

Who Can Take Part?

The survey is open to schools across all phases and settings, including alternative provision and SEND (special educational needs and disabilities).

Why Your Input Matters

Contributions from teachers and schools are vital for creating meaningful change in how industries support education. This feedback will help foster stronger partnerships between schools and STEM organisations, ensuring that students are better prepared for careers as future innovators and problem-solvers.

Key Dates and Opportunities

Don’t miss the chance to contribute! Complete the survey by 7th February 2025 to share your perspective and gain access to these valuable resources.
