- how skills and outcomes progress across the school

Learning outcomes:
- to increase confidence and competence in teaching children about food and nutrition;
- to develop some basic practical skills and techniques that are required to work with food and how these progress;
- to highlight the key principles of food hygiene and safety;
- to make links to the best practice in D&T
Presented by: Suzanne Gomersall is the Admissions Tutor for BA (Hons) Primary Education undergraduate degree as well as a Senior Lecturer. On this course she lectures across all four years, delivering sessions on primary Design and Technology and Professional development. She also lectures on the PGCE and School Direct Primary Teaching routes, in both D&T and PE.
