Peter Upton

Pete graduated from Shoreditch College (Brunel University) in 1982 Bed (Hons) and has taught Design and Technology in a variety of educational settings in Manchester, London, Spain and Cheshire. Over 40 years’ experience of using workshop machinery and classroom management skills to maximise the safety and learning of his students, ensures his courses are underpinned by first-hand experience.

 

Pete is a Registered D&T Health & Safety Consultant and offers a range of DATA courses both Nationally and Internationally  which can be tailored to your requirements for either introductory or refresher training.

 

With a track record of accomplishments, including achieving excellent GCSE and A-level results, mentoring students to Arkwright Scholarships and with over 15 years’ experience in managerial roles within schools he brings a wealth of transferable skills in communication, collaboration and adhering to legislative frameworks. H&S courses are structured to meet your specific requirements whilst adhering to BS 4163:2021+A1:2022, underpinned by a hands-on approach to setting and maintaining high standards, ensuring well-planned, safe, and effective learning environments.
