Clare Lightowler

Clare is a Registered Design and Technology Health & Safety Consultant and experienced middle leader with a Master’s in Teaching and Learning and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). Since 2010, she has led multiple departments and taught Design & Technology, Engineering, Textiles and Food.

With a decade of experience as an Interior Architect, working on high-value projects she brings a wealth of transferable skills in communication, collaboration and adhering to legislative frameworks.

Passionate about STEM education, Clare delivers STEM days to students aged 9-18 across the Northwest and leads STEM initiatives in schools.

H&S courses are structured to meet your specific requirements whilst adhering to BS 4163:2021+A1:2022, underpinned by a hands-on approach to setting and maintaining high standards, ensuring well-planned, safe, and effective learning environments.  In addition to Clare’s RDTHSC role she also teaches D&T at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys (11-18).
